    Let the present age of Riya and Meera be 5x years and 4x years respectively. Difference of ages of Riya and Meera = 5x – 4x = x years According to the question, 5x + 8 + 4x + 8 = 68 Or, 9x = 68 – 16 Or, x = 52 ÷ 9 = 4 Therefore, age of Tanya = 4x + 3 = 4×4 + 3 = 19 years
