B 27 yrs Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C 18 yrs Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D 22 yrs Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

      Solution

      ATQ,

Let the present age of 'P' and 'Q' be 4y and 7y years respectively.

      So, (4y + 6) : (7y - 6) = 5 : 6

      Or, 6 × (4y + 6) = 5 × (7y - 6)

      Or, 24y + 36 = 35y - 30

      Or, 11y = 66

      So, y = 6

      Therefore, required age = 4 × 6 + 3 = 27 years
