    Let the present age of Kirti =x and Kunal =y ATQ- After 8 years- X+8 = 2(y+8) ย ย  โ€ฆ (1) Before 6 years โ€“ x-6 = 4(y-6) x-6 =4y-24 x =4y-18ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  โ€ฆ. (2) put the value of x in Eq (1) 4y -18+8 =2y+16 4y -10 =2y+16 2y =26 y =13 years.
