Let the present age of Sita be ‘S’ years.
Present age of Meena = (S + 8) years
ATQ,
3 × (S - 8) = (S + 8) - 15
Or, 3S - 24 = S - 7
Or, 2S = 17
Or, ‘S’ = 8.5
So, present age of Sita = 8.5 years
