    age of Priya. Age of Vikrant 4 years ago was 50% the present age of Priya. Find the present average age of Vikrant and Priya.

    ATQ, Let the present age of Priya = x years So the present age of Vikrant = 0.6x years According to question: 0.6x - 4 = 0.5x 0.1x = 4, x = 40 So the present ages of Priya and Vikrant are 40 years and 24 years respectively. Present average age of Priya and Vikrant = (40 + 24)/2 = 32 years
