According to the question, => 7x = 9x – 4 => x = 2 Present age of Beena = 7 × 2 = 14 years Present age of Meenal = 9 × 2 = 18 years Now, 6 years hence their ratio of ages, Beena age = 14 + 6 = 20 years Meenal age = 18 + 6 = 24 years Required ratio = 20:24 = 5:6
