    Let the present age of B be x years. A’s present age = (x + 3) years C’s present age = (x - 4) years According to question, => [(x + 3) + 8]/(x -6) = 5/4 => x = 74 C’s age, 12 years ago = (74 - 4) – 12 = 58 years
