The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) of the Government of India (GoI) launched the Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship (MGNF) programme in collaboration with nine Indian Institutes of Management across India. The Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship 2021-23 has been launched across India in over 660 districts. The programme was initiated as part of the World Bank's SANKALP loan-assisted initiative. IIMs offers the MGNF programme, which is a certificate programme in public policy and management.
