      Let the speed of train and car be a km/hr and b km/hr. According to the question ⇒ 240/a + 210/b = 8 hr + 40 min ⇒ 240/a + 210/b = ⇒ 240/a + 210/b = 26/3 ---(1) ⇒ 180/a + 270/b = 9 ---(2) Multiply by 3 in equation (1) and by 4 in equation (2) ⇒ 450/b = 10 ⇒ b = 45 km/hr Speed of car is 45 km/hr
