To sum it up, there are seven credit rating agencies in India. They are CRISIL; CARE; ICRA; SMREA; Brickwork Rating; India Rating and Research Pvt. In October 2022, RBI dropped Brickwork Ratings India Private Limited from the list of accredited rating agencies after SEBI cancelled the licence.
