E- LAC refers to the ‘Line’ of Actual Control, therefore the preposition ‘in’ makes the sentence contextually incorrect. ‘In’ should be replaced by ‘along’. Correct Sentence: While standoffs between India and China along the LAC have occurred in the past, the most significant being the one in Dokhlam three years ago, but this was the first time in over four decades that the two sides were involved in bloodshed along the LAC.
