NHB Assistant Manager Exam Pattern
NHB recently released the NHB Assistant Manager 2022 recruitment notification. To ensure that you are ahead of the competition, you should apply well in time and then start with the preparation as early as possible. For that, you should first know the NHB exam pattern 2024. The selection process for Assistant Manager (Scale 1) will consist of two main phases:
- Phase 1: Online examination
- Phase 2: Interview
Details for each process of the NHB Assistant Manager exam is given below.
Online Examination Pattern (Assistant Manager- Generalist)
The NHB AM online exam will consist of an online exam which will have both an Objective test and a Descriptive test. The NHB Assistant Manager objective test will carry 200 marks and will consist of four sections namely- Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge, English Language and Quantitative Aptitude. The candidate needs to attain a minimum score in each section of the Objective test.

Online Examination Pattern (Assistant Manager- Hindi )
The NHB Assistant Manager exam pattern for the Hindi stream differs. The exam is objective in nature and will have four sections as described below.

Descriptive Test
- The Descriptive test will assess the English Language proficiency of the candidates.
- Candidates will have to type the answers.
- The total marks allotted to the Descriptive test are 25 and there will be 2 questions in all.
- The test will be of 30 minutes duration.
- The test will be qualifying in nature.
- The Descriptive test will only be assessed for those candidates who will secure minimum qualifying marks in the Objective test.
Phase 2: Interview (Assistant Manager - Scale 1)
The candidates who are able to secure a sufficiently high score in the NHB AM recruitment exam and make it to the merit list will be called for Interview. The maximum marks allotted are 50 and the minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank later. The ratio of the weightage provided to the online exam and interview will be 80:20 respectively. The final selection will be done on the basis of total marks obtained in the online examination and Interview.
Exam Language
All the questions that will be asked in the NHB AM online exam will be available bilingually except the test of English Language, Professional Knowledge and Descriptive Test. The remaining sections will be available in both English and Hindi.
Marking Scheme
The online examination of NHB Assistant Manager (Scale 1) will consist of various sections carrying a total of 200 marks. There will be a total of 155 questions (Generalist stream) in the objective section and 2 questions carrying 25 marks in the descriptive section.
- The questions will carry variable marks in each section.
- There will also be a penalty in case of an incorrect answer in the Objective Test.
