NHB Assistant Manager 2024 Nationality Criteria
According to the NHB Assistant Manager notification’s eligibility criteria, a candidate must be either:
- A citizen of India or
- A subject of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee (who came over to India before 1st January 1962) with the intention of permanently settling in India or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India,
Candidates in either of the above category should produce a certificate of eligibility, issued by Government of India in their favour, as part of NHB Assistant Manager eligibility criteria, for them to be eligible to apply for the NHB AM exam.
NHB Assistant Manager 2024 Educational Qualification
Every recruitment process requires the candidates to possess certain educational qualification/s to be eligible for an exam. In order to be eligible for the NHB AM recruitment exam, you need to possess a valid Graduate or Post Graduate degree in any field with a certain percentage as prescribed in the National Housing Bank Assistant Manager notification. NHB Assistant Manager Age Relaxation
The reserved category candidates will be provided certain relaxation in the upper age limit. The age relaxation is permitted only on a cumulative basis. The reserved category candidates will only be able to avail the relaxation against the reserved vacancies only. If there are no reserved vacancies, the reserved category candidates will be treated as ‘Unreserved’ candidates. There will not be any kind of reservation for the Ex-servicemen in the Officers’ cadre in the NHB AM exam.

Post -Qualification Experience
Preference shall be given to candidates with prior work experience in relevant fields for posts like General Manager (Project Finance), Deputy GM (CFO), Assistant GM (Economist), Deputy Manager (Economist/ MIS), Chief Economist and some other post in contract basis. For Assistant Manager (General and Hindi) though no prior experience is mandatory, weightage shall be given to candidates with relevant experience. For detailed information refer to the table below.
