NABARD Grade A Eligibility Criteria 2020

Since the NABARD Grade A notification 2020 is released, the immediate step after receiving the notification should be making sure if a candidate is eligible to apply for the respective post or not. The notification for any post specifies the eligibility criteria required to fill in the application form for that post. All the candidates are required to follow the mentioned eligibility criteria with respect to education, age, nationality, etc. The detailed criteria is specified in the NABARD Grade A official notification.

NABARD Grade A Educational Criteria

Before filling an application form for any post, it is extremely important to check if your educational qualifications match with the ones specified in the respective NABARD Grade A notification. A thorough read of the NABARD Grade A notification is required so that you do not miss any important details, which may cancel your application later. The educational qualification required to apply for NABARD Grade A 2020 for both streams ie General and Specialized is provided below:

All candidates need to follow a certain educational criteria when it comes to the application for NABARD Grade A examination which is as follows:-

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants - 45%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants - 45%) in aggregate or Ph.D. OR
  • Chartered Accountant /Cost Accountant / Company Secretary with Bachelor's degree OR
  • Two year full time P.G. Diploma in Management / full time MBA degree from Institutions recognized by GOI / UGC with Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ (RDBS) General Agriculture Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture with 50% marks (ST/PWBD applicants - 45%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree in Agriculture / Agriculture (Soil Science/ Agronomy) with a minimum of 50% marks (ST/PWBD applicants - 45%) in aggregate from a recognised University / Institution.
Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ (RDBS) Agriculture Engineering Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Engineering with 50% marks (SC/PWBD applicants - 45%) in aggregate or Post graduate degree in Agriculture Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/PWBD applicants - 45%) in aggregate from a recognised University / Institution.

Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ (RDBS) Chartered Accountant Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution with Membership of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). The Membership of ICAI must have been obtained on or before 01-01-2020.
Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ (RDBS) Company Secretary Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Associate membership of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). The Membership of ICSI must have been obtained on or before 01-01-2020.
Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ (RDBS) Finance BBA (Finance/Banking) / BMS (Finance/Banking) with 50% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants - 45%) OR Two years full time P.G. Diploma in Management (Finance) / Full time MBA (Finance) degree from Institutions / Universities recognised by GoI /UGC OR Bachelor of Financial and Investment Analysis with 50% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants - 45%)
Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ (RDBS) Human Resource Management BBA (Human Resource Management)/ BBM (Human Resource Management)/ BMS (Human Resource Management) with 50% marks (PWBD applicants - 45%) OR Two years full time P.G. Diploma in Management in HRM/HR / Full time MBA degree in HRM/ HR from recognised University / Institute.
Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ (RDBS) Statistics Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics with 50% marks (PWBD applicants - 45%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree in Statistics with a minimum of 50% marks (PWBD applicants - 45%) in aggregate from a recognized university.
Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ (RAJBHASHA)
  • Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university in English/Hindi medium with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subject with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD) in the aggregate OR
  • Bachelor's Degree with Hindi and English as main subjects with a minimum of 50% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PWBD) in the aggregate. Candidate must be able to translate from English to Hindi and vice/versa. OR
  • Post Graduate Degree from a recognised university in Hindi with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD) in the aggregate and English as a compulsory/elective subject at Graduation level OR
  • Post Graduate Degree in English with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD) and Hindi as a main subject at Graduation level. Candidate must be able to translate from English to Hindi and vice/versa.
Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ (LEGAL SERVICE) Bachelor’s Degree in Law recognized by Bar council of India for the purpose of enrolment as an Advocate with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ST applicants - 45%) or equivalent in the aggregate of all semesters/years OR LLM Degree with a minimum of 45% (SC/ST applicants - 40%) or equivalent in the aggregate of all semesters/years.

NABARD GRADE A AGE CRITERIA

Apart from the usual educational criteria that a candidate needs to follow, fulfilling the age criteria is equally important. NABARD specifies the age criteria for the Grade A post, which can be inferred below.  The NABARD Grade A official notification has all the details related to age as on 1/01/2020

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 30 years
PostAge Criteria
NABARD Grade A The candidate must be between 21 and 30 years of age as on 01-01-2020, i.e., the candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1990 and not later than 01-01-1999

NABARD GRADE A AGE RELAXATION

Apart from the above-mentioned age criteria that NABARD usually follows in all its examinations, it also provides certain relaxation with respect to age for some categories. All the reserved categories that will be mentioned in the official notification of NABARD Grade A 2020, will be entitled to receive the relaxation in age while applying for this post.

Emergency Commissioned Officers/Short Service Commissioned Officers who have completed their initial period of assignment of five years of Military Service but whose assignment has been extended beyond five years and in whose case, on selection, the Ministry of Defence issues certificates that they would be released within 03 months from the date of receipt of offer of appointment 5 years
Children/family members of victims died in the1984 riots 5 years
