Therefore, every year approximately 2 lakh aspiring candidates appear for this exam in the hopes of working with the Central Bank of India. Moreover, out of the 2 lakh applicants who appear for Phase 1 of the exam, only 1% make it to Phase 2. Of these approximately 1000 candidates are called for Phase 3 i.e. Interview. And finally, only 20-25% finally get selected. Hence, it is safe to say that the competition is fierce and it is only getting fiercer day by day.

For RBI Grade B (General), there are a total of 238 vacancies. So, 15 times of 238 will be equal to 238 x 15= 3570

Let’s understand with the same example-

For RBI Grade B (General), there are a total of 238 vacancies. So, 3.5 times of 238 will be equal to 238 x 3.5= 833. This means, that 833 candidates will be called for the interview.
