      chapter is index. All index are table. Conclusions: I. All chapter being table is a possibility. II. All chapter are subject. III. No chapter is table. In each of the questions below some statements are given followed by some Conclusions. You have to take the given statements to be true even, if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts.       Solution

      No chapter is index (E) + All index are table (A) → Some table are not chapter (O*) → Probable conclusion → All chapter may be table (A). Hence conclusion I follows but conclusion III does not follow. All subject are chapter (A) → Conversion → Some chapter are subject (I). Hence conclusion II does not follow.
