In each of the questions below are given three statements followed by three conclusions. You have to take the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance with commonly known facts. Read all the conclusions and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the given statements disregarding commonly known facts. Give answer

    Solution

    No teacher is a subject (E) + No subject is a book (E) ⇒ No conclusion.  Hence conclusion I will not follow. All scales are books (A) + No book is a subject (E) ⇒ No scale is a subject (E) ⇒ Conversion ⇒ No subject is a scale (E). Hence conclusion II will follow. No subject is a book (E) ⇒ Conversion ⇒ No book is a subject (E). Hence conclusion III will follow.
