(ii) O lives on floor above P but below M. There are only three persons lives between R and Q who lives on odd numbered floor above the floor on which G lives. (iii) P lives above the floor numbered 5. N lives one of the floors above on which T lives. Who among the following lives on 6th floor?Solution
From (i), (ii) and (iii), As we know that P lives above the floor no. 5 and also does not live on an odd numbered floor. P cannot live on floor no. 8 as O lives above P. So, P lives on floor no. 6. Now there will be two cases: S can live either at place no. 4 or 2. T can live either at place no. 2 or 4. From (ii), M and O will live on floor no. 8 and 7 respectively.
