From statement I alone, we cannot determine the father of O. From statement II, S is the brother-in-law of O. O is the only son of M. N is the son of Q and married to R. M is the mother of Q. We get: 
From statement II alone, we get P is the father of O. Therefore, data given in statement II alone is sufficient to answer the question while data given in statement I alone is not sufficient to answer the question.
