    5. If S = 38, SHE = 64, then ‘SEND’ will be equal to?

    Question

    If S = 38, SHE = 64, then ‘SEND’ will be equal

    to?
A 84 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B 95 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C 86 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D 92 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    The place value of S in English alphabet is = 19. So, S = (19 × 2) = 38. Similarly, SHE = [(Sum of place value of S, H and E) × 2] = [(19 + 8 + 5) × 2] = 32 × 2 = 64. Now, SEND = [(19 + 5 + 14 + 4) × 2] = [42 × 2] = 84.
