Let the length of the train is 'x'metres. ATQ, (x/20) = {(x + 300)/25} Multiplying throughout by '5', we get Or, (x/4) = {(x + 300)/5} Or, 5x = 4x + 1200 So, x = 1200 So, required value = 1200 X 1.2 = 1440
