Speed of train = 1800/9 = 200 m/sec Let the speed of the man be ‘s’ m/sec Relative speed of the train = (200 – s) m/sec According to the question, (200 – s) = 1800/18 Or, s = 200 – 100 = 100 Therefore, speed of the man = 100 m/sec
