Question
Length of a train is double the length of a platform.
If the train crosses the platform in 72 seconds, then find the time taken by train to cross a pole.Solution
Let the speed of train be 'v' m/s and the length of platform be 'L' metres.
Length of train = '2L' metres
So, (L + 2L) = '72v'
Or, 3L = 72v
So, 'L' = 24v ---------- (I)
Required time = (2L/v)
= (48v/v) [from equation (I) ]
= 48 seconds
Hence, option c.
√3600% of 150 + 3/5 of 360 - ? = 210
28 × 3.5 +25 × 3.2 = ? - 62
(3/7 )Of 3360 ÷ 240 + 30 = (?)²
What will come in the place of question mark (?) in the given expression?
(30 × 5 + 20) × 2 = ?
(2/5)(32% of 4500 – 440) = ? × 8
135 ÷ 3 of 5 = ? - 112
30% of 215 + 135% of ? = 469.5
√225 + 27 × 10 + ? = 320
Simplify: (23×32) ÷6
