    Let the length of the train be x m Length of the platform = 150 m Now, (x+150)/10 = x/8 8x+ 1200 = 10x 1200 = 2x x = 600 Length of the train = 600 m Speed of the train = 600/8 = 75 m/s = 75× 18/5 = 270 km/h
