Time taken by ‘A’ to complete the work = 32 days Time taken by ‘B’ to complete the work = 32 – 8 = 24 days Ratio of efficiencies is inverse of number of days taken Therefore, ratio of efficiencies of ‘A’ to ‘B’ = 24:32 = 3:4 Wage received by ‘A’ = 1050 × (3/7) = Rs. 450
