    Let the distance between station ‘M’ and station ‘N’ be ‘d’ km Let the correct time to travel be ‘t’ hours According to the question, (d/30) = t + 1 And, (d/45) = t - 0.5 Or, (d/30) - (d/45) = 1 + 0.5 = 1.5 Or, (3d - 2d) ÷ 90 = 1.5 Or, d = 1.5 × 90 = 135 Therefore, distance between station ‘M’ and station ‘N’ is 135 km.
