Let the distance between ‘A’ and ‘B’ be ‘x’ km
According to the question,
(x/48) + (x/56) = 39
Or, (7x + 6x)/336 = 39
Or, 13x = 336 × 39
Or, x = 1008
Therefore, distance between ‘A’ and ‘B’ = 1008 km
