passes a platform 360 m long in 50 seconds. Find the length of the train.Solution
Let the length of the train be ‘x’ meter. ∴ x/14 = (x + 360)/50 ⇒ 50x = 14x + 5040 ⇒ 36x = 5040 ⇒  x = 140 m
