same time with a speed of 25 km/hr and 15 km/hr, respectively. If the distance covered by ‘A’ is 20 km more than that by ‘B’, when they meet then find the initial distance between them.Solution
Let the initial distance between A and B be 'D' km. A's speed = 25 km/hr, B's speed = 15 km/hr. Time to meet = t hours. A covers 25t km, B covers 15t km. Given 25t=15t+20 (distance by A is 20 km more than B). Solve: 
Initial distance = D = 25t+15t = 40t. Substitute t = 2: D = 40(2) = 80km.
