Question
Deepali invests Rs. 8,300 at a simple interest rate of 4%
per annum for 6 years. The total amount she receives is Rs. '2k'. What is the product of the digits in 'k'?Solution
ATQ,
Simple interest = Principal × Rate × Time ÷ 100
Interest = 8,300 × 4 × 6 ÷ 100 = Rs. 1,992
2k = 8,300 + 1,992
2k = 10,292
k = 5,146
Product = 5 × 1 × 4 × 6 = 120
