B 10:19 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C 9:5 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D 3:5 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

      Solution

      ATQ,

Let the number of boys in class ‘X’ = 100x

      Then, number of girls in class ‘X’ = 0.75 × 100x = 75x

      Number of boys in class ‘Y’ = 0.85 × 100x = 85x

      Total number of students in class ‘Y’ = (100x + 75x) × (130/100) = 227.5x

      Number of girls in class ‘Y’ = 227.5x – 85x = 142.5x

      Required ratio = (75x):(142.5x) = 10:19
