A Rs 500 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B Rs 540 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C Rs 580 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D Rs 600 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

Let the pocket money of ‘R’ and ‘S’ be Rs. 6x and Rs. 5x respectively
    (0.4 × 6x) – (0.3 × 5x) = 90
    2.4x – 1.5x = 90 → 0.9x = 90 → x = 100
    Therefore, pocket money of ‘R’ = 6x = Rs. 600
