    Solution

    Let present ages of Nilam and Raman be 3x years and x years respectively.
    So, present age of Fatima = 15x/2 years
    The sum of present ages of Nilam, Raman and Fatima is 138 years.
    => 3x + x + 15x/2 = 138
    => 8x + 15x = 276
    => x = 12
    So, Raman's present age = 12 years
