      Question

      The ratio of the distances covered by Mohit, Soham, and

      Ramesh is 6:4:3 respectively. Ayush covers 12 meters less than Mohit. If the difference between the distance covered by Mohit and Ramesh is 36 meters, what is the ratio of Soham’s distance to Ayush’s distance?
      A 4:5 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
      B 5:4 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
      C 6:7 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
      D 5:6 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
      E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

      Solution

      Let distances be 6x, 4x, and 3x respectively.
      Ayush’s distance = 6x - 12

      ATQ,
      6x - 3x = 36
      Or, 3x = 36
      Or, x = 12

      Soham = 4 × 12 = 48
      Ayush = 72 - 12 = 60

      Required ratio = 48:60 = 4:5
