    Solution

    Let, monthly income and monthly expenditure of A is Rs. 10x and Rs. 7x respectively. So, monthly savings of A = 10x – 7x = Rs. 3x And, 3x = 4500 Or, x = 1500 So, monthly income of A = 10 × 1500 = Rs. 15000
