B Rs. 2550 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C Rs. 2772 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D Rs. 1460 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E Rs. 1848 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    Let monthly income of ‘P’ and ‘Q’ be Rs. ‘15x’ and Rs. ‘22x’, respectively Monthly savings of ‘Q’ = 52% × 15x = Rs. 7.8x Monthly savings of ‘P’ = {7.8/1.2} = Rs. 6.5x Monthly expenditure of ‘P’ = 15x – 6.5x = Rs. 8.5x Monthly expenditure of ‘Q’ = 22x – 7.8x = Rs. 14.2x Or, 14.2x = 4260 Or, x = 4260/14.2 Or, x = 300 Monthly expenditure of ‘P’ = 8.5 × 300 = Rs. 2550
