Question
Priya and Neha went to a stationery shop. Priya had 30% of
the book's marked price, which was Rs. 60 less than the selling price. Neha had 55% of the marked price. If Neha purchased the book and had Rs. 90 left, find the selling price of the book.Solution
ATQ,
Let the marked price of the book be Rs. ‘x’.
So, money with Priya = Rs. 0.30x
Money with Neha = Rs. 0.55x
Selling price of the book = 0.30x + 60 = 0.55x – 90
0.25x = 150 ⇒ x = 600
So, selling price of book = 0.30 × 600 + 60 = 180 + 60 = Rs. 240
What will come in place of the question mark (?) in the following expression?
18 × 16 – 11 × 4 = 15² + ?
? + 156 ÷ 3 × 7 = 35% of 400 + (13)2
What value should come in the place of (?) in the following questions?
3(1/2) + 5(1/2) = ? + 4(3/8)
- What will come in place of (?), in the given expression.
3² × 5 + 2³ × 4 = ? What will come in the place of question mark (?) in the given expression?
√(? - 212) - 84 = 81 - 13 X 9
(42% of 1500 + 170) ÷ 4 = ?2 - 52Â
`(256/6561)(1/4) = ?`
8 × 12 + 110 ÷ 5 = 72 + ?
(62 - 52 ) % of 800 = 22 X √?
33 × 5 - ?% of 250 = 62 - 6
