    ATQ,

    Let the cost price of the watch be Rs. ‘6x’ and the marked price be Rs. ‘11x’.

    ATQ;

    Selling price of the watch = 11x × 0.85 = Rs. ‘9.35x’

    Profit = 9.35x – 6x = Rs. ‘3.35x’

    So, 3.35x = 240

    Or, x = 71.64

    So, marked price of the watch = 11 × 71.64 = Rs. 788
