Let the cost price of the watch be Rs. β6xβ and the marked price be Rs. β11xβ.
ATQ;
Selling price of the watch = 11x Γ 0.85 = Rs. β9.35xβ
Profit = 9.35x β 6x = Rs. β3.35xβ
So, 3.35x = 240
Or, x = 71.64
So, marked price of the watch = 11 Γ 71.64 = Rs. 788
