B 22% Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C 20% Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D 23% Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    Let cost price of the article is Rs. ‘x’ So, Selling price of the article = 0.85 × 1.6 × x = Rs. 1.36x According to question; 1.36x – x = 540 Or, 0.36x = 540 Or, x = 1500 Desired Percentage = [(1800 – 1500)/1500] × 100 = 20%
