cm. If the same wire is bent to form a circle, then find the area (in cm2) of the circle formed.
Solution
Total length of the wire = 4 Γ length of the square = 4 Γ 22 = 88 cm So, circumference of the circle = 88 cm Radius of the circle = {88/(2Ο)} = {88 Γ 7/44)} = 14 cm Area of the circle formed = (22/7) Γ 14 Γ 14 = 616 cm2
