Question
Vipin travels one-third of the distance of a journey at a speed of 30 km/h and the remaining distance at a speed of 40 km/h. If he took a total of 12 hours to complete the journey, what was the total distance (in km) of the journey? Â
Solution
Given Speed = 30 km/h and 40km/h      ,max value LCM of 30, 40 =360 So let the total distance = 360 1/3 of 360 =120 and remain distance =360-120=240
total time =4+6= 10 ATQ- 10=12 1=1.2 So now the total distance - 1.2×360=432km
