Let the number of male and female students be '5n' and '3n' respectively. ATQ; (5n + 10) : (3n + 14) = 3 : 2 Or, 2 × (5n + 10) = 3 × (3n + 14) Or, 10n + 20 = 9n + 42 Or, 'n' = 22 Therefore, total number of students = 5n + 3n = 8n = 8 × 22 = 176
