Number of girls in 2019 = 6000 × 0.70 = 4200
Number of boys in 2019 = 6000 - 4200 = 1800
Number of girls in 2020 = 4200 × 1.20 = 5040
Number of boys in 2020 = 1800 × 0.60 = 1080
Total number of students in 2020 = 5040 + 1080 = 6120
So, percentage change in total number of students = {(6120 - 6000)/6000} × 100 = 2%
