Let the total income of A and B = Rs. x Income of A = x × 60% = Rs. 0.6x Income of B = x – 0.6x = Rs. 0.4x Savings of B = 0.4x × 32% = Rs. 0.128x According to the question, 0.128x = 12800 Or, x = 100000 Difference between their incomes = 0.6x – 0.4x = 0.2x = Rs. 20000
