      Let the monthly salary of the man be Rs. ‘x’. Money spent on rent and transportation = (30 + 18)% of x = Rs. 0.48x Remaining money = (x – 0.48x) = Rs. 0.52x Money spent on food and entertainment = (29 + 44)% of 0.52x = Rs. 0.3796x Remaining money left = 0.52x – 0.3796x = 0.1404x So, 0.1404x = 2948.4 x = Rs. 21000
