      Let A’s investment be Rs. x. Then, ratio of capitals of A, B and C = (x × 12) : (3x × 6) : (2x × 9) ⇒  12x : 18x : 18x ⇒  2x : 3x : 3x Therefore, C’s share = Rs. 24000 x (3/8) = Rs.9000
