Speed of train = 720/20 = 36 m/sec Let the speed of the man be ‘s’ m/sec Relative speed of the train = (36 – s) m/sec According to the question, (36 – s) = 720/30 Or, s = 36 – 24 = 12 Therefore, speed of the man = 12 m/sec
