    Solution

    Let the salary of Raj and Simran be 3x and 5x respectively. Then, 5x × 125/100 = 54000 x = (54000×100)/(125×5)  = Rs. 8640 ∴ Raj’s salary = 3x  = 3 × 8640 = Rs. 25920
