Let the initial quantity of water be 'y' litres.
Initial quantity of milk = '1.75y' litres
So, y + 1.75y = 275
Or, 2.75y = 275

Initial quantity of milk = 1.75 × 100 = 175 litres
Therefore, final quantity of milk = 175 + 25 = 200 litres
