    B 360 litres Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    C 286 litres Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    D 240 litres Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    Let the initial quantities of milk and water in the vessel be 11x litres and 10x litres respectively.
    63 litres mixture contains 33 litres milk and 30 litres water.
    According to question:
    11x – 33 = 10x – 30 + 10
    x = 13
    So the initial quantity of mixture = 21 × 13 = 273 litres
